Is the Prosperity Gospel Biblical?

Both the Old and New Testaments affirm that God blesses those who are generous with their resources. Some of these verses have become the basis for what is commonly called the "prosperity gospel." According to prosperity gospel teachers, it is God's will for believers to be financially prosperous and physically healthy, and this wealth and health can be attained through faith, speaking positive words, and financial giving.
