SpaceX is currently under scrutiny for alleged violations of wastewater discharge regulations at its Boca Chica launch site in Texas. Reports indicate that both state and federal officials, including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), found that SpaceX permitted operations without securing necessary environmental permits. This situation raises concerns, particularly given that the TCEQ has identified four unauthorized discharges since March 2023, which could significantly impact SpaceX's operational capabilities going forward.
