Whom do you experience the most disagreement with? When we disagree, it's easy to allow disunity in our relationships. Pursuing unity is hard. Romans 12:18 teaches us, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." When followers of Jesus are in a disagreement, they should lead with love for the other person, upholding the relationship, and then clarify their beliefs peaceably. In times like an election year, when things can feel especially dicey, it's important to obey this commandment for peace in disagreements. Where can you practice expressing your beliefs in loving ways this week?
