This week on the MiFit Podcast I chatted with Alex Maclin. Alex is a former host of the barbell shrugged podcast, competed in weightlifting on a national level, and is also a nutrition coach. Alex is a phenomenal nutrition coach who puts the athlete first and gives his clients the “real coaching” that they need. Like most successful coaches, Alex is a firm believer in being open minded with his approach and how he gets a client to reach their goals. Something I really enjoy about Alex is his authenticity and also the way he aims at improving lifestyle before anything else. This episode taught me a bunch about having a successful consultation, creating a brand, and getting to know your athletes on a personal level.
