Thrive Solo Thursday Thoughts - The Let Them Theory
On this week's Thursday Thoughts, Polly and I are talking about Mel Robbins' Let Them Theory — a simple idea that's all about letting go of the need to control or change how others think, act, or feel, about you or anything else.
The idea is straightforward: when people behave in ways you don't like — whether they doubt you, ignore you, criticise you, laugh at you, disagree with you — your best move is to just...let them.
This approach helps us to stop overthinking, trying to change other people, or taking things personally. It can ease alot of stress and give you the emotional freedom to focus on what really matters — i.e. what YOU do, say, think, and how you act.
Instead of worrying what others think, the Let Them mindset encourages you to put your energy into your own goals, growth, and happiness. It's a simple shift that can make a big difference to how you feel.
It's so easy to apply, and it's something we can all use to feel more peaceful, and live a little happier.
We really hope you'll find something useful in here!
Love,
