The Astonishing Faith Journey Of A Palestinian Latter-day Saint - Sahar Qumsiyeh | 72

Sahar Qumsiyeh is a Palestinian Arab. She was born in Jerusalem, Palestine, and grew up in Beit Sahour, a town close to Bethlehem. She currently teaches in the mathematics department at BYU-Idaho. She is the author of Peace for a Palestinian: One Woman’s Story of Faith Amidst War in the Holy Land. 

I wanted to speak to Sahar to hear her incredible experiences and to be inspired by her faith as she continued to live out her beliefs when it was intensely difficult to.

Some highlights from this episode include hearing Sahar's terrifying weekly trek to Church in Jerusalem, how she found it in her heart to forgive the Israeli soldiers who wronged her, and how she went from Palestine to BYU.
