Karla is the Founder and Director of the Climate Justice Initiative (CJI). CJI is the only indigenous women-led and focused organization that addresses the multifaceted issue of climate change and climate justice in Indigenous peoples, groups, and communities. Karla is also the Founder and Senior Consultant at Saghani Consulting.
