Chris-Tia Donaldson is the Founder and CEO of Thank God It's Natural. After she graduated from Harvard Law School and started working in corporate, Chris-Tia wore wigs to hide her curly hair. She shares during the interview how she felt she needed to have straight hair to look professional.

Chris-Tia realized she wanted to wear her hair natural and that is when she decided to create her own line of hair products for women so that they could enjoy their curls and textured hair.  Her company makes natural hair and skincare products that are sold in Target, Whole Foods, Sally’s Beauty, CVS, and Walgreen's.  

It has been a journey for Chris-Tia, where she worked full time as in-house counsel for a large software company while she built her company as a side gig.  It was a diagnosis with breast cancer at the age of 36 that changed her trajectory again, and prompted her to write her second book, "This Is Only a Test: What Breast Cancer Taught Me About Faith, Love, Hair and Business," and also signaled to her it was time to quit her job to work full time on her company.
