In 1999, Quan Huynh shot and killed another man in a gang-related incident in Hollywood, California. Quan Huynh proceeded to spend the next 22 years of his life behind bars. In the midst of a life sentence, he found his freedom from within. He wishes to share that freedom with others.
Today, Quan is an author and executive director of an organization called Defy Ventures, a nonprofit helping those with a criminal past transform their lives through the journey of entrepreneurship.
