Deep dives
The Rocket's True Nature
After examining the rocket engines up close, it becomes clear to Emrick that the rocket functions more like a ballistic weapon than a mode of transportation. The engines lack the necessary control for precise maneuvering. Emrick relays this information to his companions, suggesting that the mission is more of an attack than an exploratory journey.
Seeking Audience with the Nano Father
Emrick approaches Mary Road, the communications officer, and requests her assistance in speaking with the Nano Father. Mary reluctantly agrees and provides Emrick with a note granting him access. Emrick then proceeds towards the silo where the rocket is located.
Gaining Access to the Silo
Emrick encounters two guards outside the silo who initially refuse entry. However, using the permission slip and some persuasive tactics, Emrick manages to convince the guards to let him and his companions inside.
Trouble inside the Silo
Upon entering the silo, Emrick and the others witness a confrontation between Harriet and another individual named Gary. Harriet expresses frustration over being stuck and the inability to communicate with the Nano Father. It becomes apparent that there is a problem with communication and access to the rocket.
Desperate Attempts to Contact the Nano Father
The group realizes that they are unable to communicate with the Nano Father and are uncertain about the status of the mission. Emrick suggests finding a way to restore communication and gain access to the rocket in order to address their concerns directly with the Nano Father.
The gang seek the help of an old frenemy to stop the Bob Davis and those aboard. Beef tests his negotiation skills. Emerich gets crafty. Montrose blogs about it.
