Through prayer, David is “Given,” the perfect movie from Spirit that best meets our present healing needs and themes. Today's movie is "Perfect Sense."
Perfect Sense is a powerful film where the characters go through a shared and accelerated awakening experience. Due to a virus, they lose four out of the body’s five physical senses, one by one. As we rely less on the body’s senses to tell us who we are, what we are will tell us of Itself. The Spirit is leading us into a present experience well beyond the understanding of our body’s senses. In the final hours, all that is left is profound love and appreciation and a shared urge to reach out to one another to end the dream of fragmentation once and for all!
Nothing is so blinding as the perception of form. The sight of form means that understanding has been obscured. The goal of the curriculum is to Know Thyself. That's such a beautiful, succinct line in the Course. Still, when we start to take it in and digest that a little bit and see that you have the perception of form as the baseline without having had experiences that are beyond the form, then it can be like, well, now you're talking about the big question mark for humans. Oh, we can all have our theories. Everybody can have a theory. The question is, what is real? It's like men and women saying, Can't live with them - Can't live without them. And now we are saying, Bodies, can't live with them, can't live without them? Yeah, and now, Bodies, can't live with them, have to live with them! So that's a good, good start for tonight's movie Perfect Sense.
