Pete Tongren, Strength Coach at Holy Innocents Episcopal

Coach Tongren has been the Head Strength and
 Conditioning Coach since 2005 at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta, Georgia. He works with 23 Varsity and JV teams and oversees programming for the Upper School Advanced Strength and Conditioning classes as well as the Middle School. Tongren is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a Level 1 Coach through United States Weightlifting and a Level 1 Coach with Precision Nutrition. Coach Tongren has a BS from Elon University Major Physical Education and a Minor in Exercise Physiology/Health. Tongren was named the NHSSCA State High School Coach of the Year 2020 for the Southeast Region.
