This episode features Meaghan Odum, the creator of @trillwinewife on Instagram and one of the most recent Elevate Award recipients from Wine Unify. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Meaghan currently lives in Mississippi, so we chat about the wine scene and how she is using social media as a tool these days to show up as her authentic self and showcase her own unique perspective while learning and speaking about wine. She is a Certified Specialist of Wine candidate with a Masters in Healthcare Administration while also holding several certifications from WSET and the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is currently working with several wine companies and top wine events to assist with marketing, media, and virtual and in-person tasting events. We debrief about her most recent adventure to the Finger Lakes to attend Riesling Camp and some of her key takeaways from that experience. We also talk about some of her key mentors and what it’s been like applying for scholarships that open doors to new learning experiences. As a mom of two, she says she likes to pair wine with life because...wine is life.
