Challenges of Advancing in Language Learning

Transitioning from an intermediate to an advanced level in language learning presents unique challenges, particularly due to the limited exposure to new vocabulary. At the beginner stage, language learners quickly absorb the most common words because these terms appear frequently in everyday speech and writing. However, as learners progress, the introduction of less common vocabulary becomes less frequent, leading to a sense of stagnation in improvement.
