She booked a one-way ticket to Cape Town and spent seven months and nine days backpacking from South Africa to Egypt, traversing 13 African countries along the way.
During this remarkable journey, Valerie founded CRDLE, an outsourcing firm that allowed her to leverage her skills and embrace a virtual career.
