Why is political correctness so insidious? Political correctness, which is rooted in marxism, could more accurately be termed truth suppression because it seeks to silence opposing viewpoints. For example, feel a bit shy now about saying something publicly about the unbiblical nature of same-sex marriage? Think you should keep your opinion to yourself with regard to associating Islam with terrorism? Well, you are feeling the truth-suppressing force of political correctness. Instead of quieting down, Christians, within our own spheres of influence, need to turn it up with the truth of God’s Word, spoken with grace, and motivated by love for lost souls.
