A lot of things can prevent us from fully realizing our dreams, ranging from education to resources to connections. You can overcome these barriers, though it can take a lot of time and effort. But some of the things holding us back aren’t even real world obstacles like money or opportunities! They’re actually limiting thoughts that stifle dreams and keep us from our full potential.
In this episode, I help you pinpoint the mental obstacle you aren’t even aware of, remind you that not every step has to feel like a struggle, and help you accept the risks that come with any big dreams.
My tips for overcoming these blocks:
1. Fill out the blank in the "I would do that, but _____" sentence keeping you in place.
2. Figure out where you're making excuses for how you spend your time and money.
3. Stop convincing yourself that your climb to the top needs to be hard.
4. Accept that your plan will never be 100% risk-free and try making it a reality.
