Stretching Idaho's Water Resource with Andrew Mickelson

Andrew Mickelson is an Idaho farmer who has been working to understand possible ways to stretch our scarce water resource farther in our varying soil types. The Rule of Thumb within the farming community is changing as we gain more advanced technology like soil probes and more effective monitoring devices, and this shift may be the key to unlocking even greater production with the same or less water in Idaho. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
