Deep dives
Challenges of Having a Defined Emotional Solar Plexus
Having a defined solar plexus is not only energizing but also tiring. Emotional beings experience highs and lows, constantly riding an emotional wave. Even with other motors, emotional beings cannot simply push through like non-emotional individuals. The emotions can be exhausting and require time for recovery. It's important to acknowledge and support the challenges faced by defined solar plexus individuals, understanding that they are doing their best in navigating their emotional energy.
Taking Responsibility for Emotions as a Defined Solar Plexus
Defined solar plexus individuals need to take responsibility for their emotions, neither indulging them nor repressing them. However, it's also crucial for undefined solar plexus individuals to take responsibility for how they receive and respond to other people's emotional energy. By understanding the impact of emotional energy exchange, both defined and undefined individuals can create healthier dynamics. It's a collaborative effort to find compassion and understanding for each other's emotional experiences.
Embracing Emotional Clarity and Practicing Compassion
Emotional clarity can take time, whether it's seconds or months, and that's perfectly fine. Both defined and undefined individuals should be compassionate towards themselves and others. Being patient with the emotional process is necessary, acknowledging the challenges and frustrations it brings. By practicing patience, curiosity, and avoiding assumptions about how others feel, we can foster an environment of understanding, support, and growth for the emotional and non-emotional beings alike.
On this episode, I talk about Emotional Authority and the Solar Plexus in a way that challenges the Human Design knowledge. As an emotional being myself, one thing I’ve noticed, and that I don’t think many people recognize, is how exhasuting and tiring it can be to have Emotional Authority (a defined Solar Plexus).
EVEN when we learn to manage the energy of the Solar Plexus in the most resourceful way, it can still be exhausting and affect our energy in ways that the knowledge doesn’t talk about. Especially if you have other motors defined like the Sacral, Will/Ego and/or Root Centres, the knowledge will often say that you “should” have the energy to push through - but I’m challenging that!
I sit down and have a “real talk” moment on this episode about having compassion for yourself as an Emotional Authority, having compassion for others who aren’t emotionally defined, AND on the flip side, having compassion for emotional beings if you’re not one. I also talk about the responsibility of both the defined and undefined in relationships and friendships, and bust some of the myths out there.
