Deep dives
Overcoming opposition and staying focused on God's plan
Life is filled with opposition and unfair situations that can discourage us, but we must remember that opposition does not mean we are outside of God's will. Just like David faced a giant before becoming a respected leader, our opposition is a chance for God to showcase His favor and anointing on our lives. When we trust that setbacks are actually set-ups for something greater, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that promotion, healing, and new levels are on the horizon.
Choosing peace over arguments and conflict
To reach a place of abundance and fulfillment, we must learn to not get entangled in arguments or prove our point at all times. Taking the high road and letting go of the need to be right can save us unnecessary emotional energy and preserve our dignity. By ignoring insults, avoiding unnecessary fights, and maintaining peace, we demonstrate strength and honor. It is important to prioritize peace in our relationships, even if it means letting others think they are right for the sake of harmony.
Not getting stuck in discouragement and setbacks
Life may present setbacks and disappointments that make us question our faith and purpose. We may face difficulties that seem unfair and hold us back. However, these moments are temporary and should not be used as indicators of our future. Just like Isaac experienced multiple setbacks in digging wells, we must keep moving forward. By refusing to make judgments based on one season of life and persevering with faith, we can overcome the opposition and arrive at a place of abundance and fulfillment, where God blesses us beyond our expectations.
You can be in the center of God’s will and still face opposition. The key is to remember that God is still in control. That setback is actually a setup. He’s going to take what was meant for your harm and use it to your advantage.
