Products Are About People by LinkedIn's Senior PM

Many people who want to become product managers worry about amassing technical expertise. During this talk, Jasper Sherman-Presser, Senior Product Manager for video at LinkedIn, argued that to be a great product manager, you first need to understand people. You also need to understand people's problems and desires in order to build products that address them. In addition, he said that PM's need to understand people's motivations to guide a team to build and deliver products and you need to be able to capture value in metrics that are people-centric.
