CAR-T cell therapy offers a potentially paradigm-changing new treatment for multiple myeloma. Additionally, CAR-T toxicity is may be more manageable than other treatments. While cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is common in CAR-T trials, these are generally short-lived and managed with standard therapies.
