Emily lost her father when she was just getting out of college and it was a devastating blow. However, the foundation he laid will echo for generations to come. Emily's dad gamified safety and defense so she would always be ready to protect herself and others. She also talks about how her father showed up in her life in many ways and made her into the incredible, mentally tough, resilient, empathetic woman she is today.
