#125 - S5E5 - This might be the best decision I ever made!
Michelle Adamolekun is an Executive Vice President and the Chief People & Culture Officer at Cone Health, a 13,000+ employee hospital and health system in Greensboro, NC.
From Michelle... "when I moved to mission based health care, because it was so mission focused, and it's really about being a part of something bigger and greater than yourself, I was able to get that and bring my whole self to my role in the healthcare environment. So, you know, I really see it as a calling for me at this stage, as it relates to that. My mission truly is to live and serve. And by that I mean, living is how well I can navigate life's challenges, day in and day out, because life throws a lot of things at us. But while we're doing it, uplifting, inspiring and really supporting and serving others at the same time, and so, you know, most folks always assume well, you're an HR, you must love people. Yes, I do like people, but no, I actually enjoy helping people to help themselves. And that's really what draws me to healthcare and to human resources."
