79: Grace Chi.
In this episode, host Bidemi Ologunde spoke with Grace Chi, the co-founder, and chief operating officer of Pulsedive Threat Intelligence, a cybersecurity company that is focused on high-fidelity, high-value threat intelligence solutions to help organizations proactively improve their security posture. Pulsedive was founded in 2017 and is based in New Jersey, in the U.S.
Grace talked about her role in operationalizing Pulsedive by leveraging her interdisciplinary background – she actually studied art history and behavioral neuroscience for her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She described how she effectively combines her knowledge of product marketing and her fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity in her role as a cybersecurity entrepreneur. She shared how she considers her education as a form of experience, in terms of learning how to learn and learning how to think, how she stays sharp and motivated during dynamic, non-typical workdays, and also her favorite things to do outside of work, which usually includes observing nature, watercolor painting, making miniature houses, and playing board games. She also gave some salient advice for anyone thinking of starting a cybersecurity-focused business. Grace is also available on Twitter @euphoricfall.
