The Ranch Podcast Wildlife Migrations in Idaho with Nick Fasciano
Nick Fasciano is the executive director of Idaho Wildlife Federation and came in to speak about migration patterns and needs of our wildlife. One of the issues with development is that there are very clear migration corridors that exist in Idaho that benefit untold numbers of wild game, and developers at times build communities over these areas. For some species, these are well worn trails that lead to winter grazing, safety, and labor and delivery areas for their next generation. Nick came in to discuss what Idaho is doing to help improve data and understanding of these areas so our natural resources can continue to thrive. Enjoy!

The Ranch Podcast is the premier source for long format interviews and information in the Treasure Valley and great state of Idaho. The Boise area is home to many counties and ways of life. It’s also home to many law enforcement agencies, like Ada County and Canyon county Sheriff offices, Idaho State Police, Eagle Police Department, Meridian Police Department, and many more. The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
The Ranch Podcast is shot just north of Eagle, Idaho.
