Hits and Healthcare: Springsteen and Rich Men North of Richmond with Dr. David Bradford
Is there healthcare and economics in the Billboard Hot 100? Of course! Particularly if you listen to it with two health economists! Today, my great friend and colleague, Dr. David Bradford joins me to discuss “My Hometown” by Bruce Springsteen and “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony.
Both may surprise you with how much they tell us about the closing of rural hospitals, the opioid epidemic, and how we might help old souls to live in a new world.
