52: Feeling Frustrated with Body Changes, Symptoms, and Healthcare in Perimenopause

Frustration, and even anger, are emotions I feel sometimes.😖

And I really feel for my clients, who are experiencing this, too (and there are often tears in coaching sessions because of these feelings.)

The truth is, perimenopause and menopause can be an extremely frustrating time.

➡️Your body is changing, you might be gaining weight, feeling pain, or be overtaken by hot flashes even if you haven't changed your daily routine

➡️Your symptoms can wreak havoc not only in your body, but in your day-to-day life

➡️You get dismissed or misunderstood by medical practitioners who don't really know much about menopause and how it could possibly be linked to how you're changing or feeling.

It's a lot to take in, and most of it we're not prepared for.

So, it's more than ok to feel what you feel, and in fact, you need to feel it.

Cry about it, scream about it, write about it, or dance, run, swim, or bike about it.

And then we can move forward and be open to solutions.
