Stocks dip entering September, historically the market's worst month

US stock futures (DJI, IXIC, GSPC) fell on Tuesday, the first trading day after the Labor Day weekend holiday. September, historically the market's worst month, is especially unique this time around as the Federal Reserve gears up for its first interest rate cut and August's jobs report this Friday, September 6.
