Special Announcement - the 2024 ECM Daily Lenten Gospel Devotional

Hello and welcome to the EveryCatholicMan.com, where a man can draw closer to Jesus Christ, learn the Catholic faith, and grow in happiness by becoming  better Catholic Son and Catholic Father.

This is a special announcement about the 2024 Every Catholic Man Daily Lenten Devotional. Each day during Lent, there will be a daily podcast to help draw closer to Jesus Christ. 

Lent (meaning “long days”) is the ancient 40-day liturgical pilgrimage beginning with Ash Wednesday (ashes reminding of unavoidable death) in preparation for Easter, and eternal life in Christ.  Lent recalls Jesus’ 40 days of fasting and prayer in the desert in preparation for public ministry; every Catholic man is called to deep repentance and to prayer and fasting during Lent and to remember that a man’s life is short and he must do his best to serve God during the days he has been blessed to have. 

At Lent, every Catholic man is challenged to take on a strenuous Lenten vow as a personal Sacrifice so he heroically set aside his desires for comfort and self-indulgence and in a small way imitate Jesus Christ’s Supreme Sacrifice of the Cross and draw closer to Him.  

This Lent, consider sacrificing less than 15 minutes a day to draw closer to Jesus Christ and going deeper in the faith by listening to the Every Catholic Man Daily Lenten Gospel Devotional.
