The Ongoing Nature of the Conflict

The war in Ukraine is far from over, despite Russia's underwhelming military performance. A general mobilization and a shift to a full war economy have yet to occur, and there is potential support from external countries like China that could bolster Russian forces. Although Russia is depleting its resources at an alarming rate, significant assistance, especially in the form of drones from China, may still alter the dynamics of the conflict. As long as Ukraine remains an underdog reliant on external help, the possibility of a prolonged conflict remains, particularly if major countries withdraw their support.
