Ditch the Codependent Behavior + Establish HEALTHY Dynamics

**Welcome to the first part in a three part relationship series designed to help you build thriving relationships. This week we’ll unpack how to move from codependency to a place of interdependence, one that creates healthy dynamics with your spouse, family, and team.**

Does a relationship of extreme dependance sound familiar? “I can’t function without you, or without you needing me.” 

We may have a distorted view of what we bring to the relationships in our lives. When we get anxiously attached to someone, we feel responsible for their thoughts, feelings, reactions - even their happiness. We search for who we can fix and save, creating a revolving door of those issues in our lives. We become ADDICTED to being needed, wanted, significant. Our worth is tied to being the saver, the fixer, the source.

This self-imposed burden becomes heavy - spiritually, mentally, even physically. If your body and mind have been hijacked by these struggles, it’s time to bring you back to the here and now. We are not the source. Allowing our loved ones time of productive struggle is a reflection of our abilities to be comfortable with not being in control. What does holding space in a healthy way look like? What is the balance between support and growth?

Join me as we learn to disentangle ourselves from the idolatry of codependency. We will:

• Identify the signs and symptoms that codependency rules your life
• Redirect where our source is (live giving vs. life draining)
• Reclaim the territory of your mind
