After growing up in the Victorian Country town of Balliang, Garth studied Law at Deakin and Melbourne University and held roles working at a Sports Firm that allowed him to deal with major sports federations within Australia. But in 2018, Garth packed his bags and moved his life over to Lausanne, Switzerland to take up his dream role at the IOC.
