She won the Samsung Gear VR contest in 2016 with her VR experience "Cardboard City" which premiered at the New York Film Festival that year. Her interactive VR experience "Runnin'" starring Reggie Watts was the first VR director to film on the Intel Studios volumetric capture stage, and it was awarded the Jury Prize for Interactive at SXSW in 2019.

Kiira's VR Theatre production "Loveseat" premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2019, and it was performed simultaneously before live and virtual audiences. Her latest VR Theatre production "Finding Pandora X" featured Broadway actors and was recently performed virtually at the Venice Film Festival in 2020.
