This lecture discusses key ideas from the 18th century philosopher Immanuel Kant's work, The Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics. Specifically it focuses on Kant's defense of his own transcendental or critical idealism from accusations that he turns the spatio-temporal world of sense-experience into mere "illusion" (Schein). Kant explains how illusions do arise out of other philosophical positions and their key assumptions.
