CloudFlare, a cybersecurity company, experienced a likely nation-state attack where credentials were stolen. The attackers spent four days viewing Atlassian Confluence and Jira portals, created a rogue Atlassian user account, and gained access to the Bitbucket source code management system. Around 76 repositories were exfiltrated. The attack was facilitated by stolen access tokens and service account credentials from Amazon Web Service, Atlassian Bitbucket, MoveWorks, and Smart Sheet.
