In a shocker, New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr retired on Saturday and it sets up major uncertainty for the Saints' quarterback position moving forward. The Carr financial situation will be more helpful in 2026, but Carr certainly did the team a favor with the move. Now, the Saints could turn to recently drafted Tyler Shough as their starter or one of their other young options. However, the Saints could look at outside options and Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins or Kenny Pickett make a lot of sense as a fall back plan.
