Real Self - Be Real - Steven Gibbs | Stonecreek Church
What is your vision for your life? Does it align with God’s plan for your life? This past Sunday, Pastor Steven Gibbs was back with an awesome message about what it takes for us to live our best, real life. Life change begins when we become willing to sacrifice all that we have for the One who paid it all.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:1-2
The world has a vision for your life, do you?
Power in us is fueled by the patterns of Jesus.
The mercy of God is our motivation.
Have you considered how much mercy God gives you?
Sacrifices are serious business.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Psalm 51:17
Is your sacrifice bringing you the life you want?
How did you get here?
What are your inputs?
What systems are shaping you today?
God’s vision for your life is the person you are becoming.
Broken thoughts lead to broken beliefs;
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
Colossians 3:2
Where is the joy of my salvation?
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18
