They’ve even tapped into things like Kickstarter, where fans are funding the production of an album. Groups like AC/DC have gotten good at making money off of a younger generation that may not even know any of their music, simply by creating a cool brand and image. In fact, t-shirts have become far more lucrative than albums. Tapping into various streams of passive income, artists have become very business savvy over the years.
