About Milena:
Milena is a drum maker of traditional medicine drums, born and raised in Berlin in a German-American family, she has been diving into the art of drum building for over 8 years. She holds a M.A. in Fashion/Costume/ Industrial Design and is dedicated to the alchemy of the creative journey. Her drums, paintings and symbols bridge ancient craft and traditional medicine knowledge with contemporary design and artwork. She has been learning and apprenticing since many years with different healers, teachers and artists from various indigenous cultural backgrounds. Beside her art, she is offering vision work for individuals and groups and gives talks. Her work is shaped by a deep love for creating beauty and spaces for healing as well as the art of dreaming and vision.
