Sugar was a reward during Scott's childhood.
And as a result, Scott was overweight as a child, and his mother put him on all kinds of diets.
He felt like a disappointment at weigh-ins. It was a struggle to keep his weight down most of his life.
As he grew up, his mental framework was that sugar was a treat... it was fun and enjoyable and decadent.
But he also wondered: Why is something that tastes so good also so bad for me?
Plus he saw that sugar's in everything. It felt very confusing.
Then he made an important switch. Sugar became non-negotiable.
And yoga became an integral part of his life.
Listen to Scott's inspiring story of how he made the switch to a whole foods diet and a mindful approach to his food, his yoga practice, and his life.
