“It is the nature of our profession to be flexible, because our roles can change,” explains longtime PA and educator Dr. Kevin Lohenry. Physician assistants have had the chance to showcase that flexibility during the pandemic, quickly adjusting and moving into COVID-related roles like ICU support and vaccine efforts.
