Dr. Kaplan graduated from the University of Florida's College of Dentistry in 1976, where he made history as the first student in the state of Florida to do a clinical procedure on a live patient. After retiring from his practice, he became a faculty member at the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife Barbara and golfing.
