Dr. J.D. LaRock is President and CEO of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a global nonprofit organization that activates the entrepreneurial mindset and builds startup skills in young people from underserved communities. Reaching more than 100,000 middle and high school students annually, NFTE works with 2,000+ schools and community partners in 10 metropolitan regions across the U.S., as well as eight countries spanning Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.


Aaron Trinidad is a high school senior at Holy Trinity High School and is joined by teacher, Angela Miceli. He is also founder of the app Lender, which pairs nonprofits with volunteers based on interest, availability and location. This business venture led him to be the winner of the 2019 National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge in New York City. Currently, he is doing research into what it will take to get the app developed and launched.
