We're sitting down with one of my business mentors, Chase Chewning, for today's episode. Chase is a fellow podcaster and wellness expert, my podcast coach, and an all-around great friend who is quite literally a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the latest health topics, products, and trends in the space. His podcast, Ever Forward Radio, has over 1.5 million downloads and counting, and as he's nearing the 500- episode-mark, you can imagine he's become a lifelong learner of the nutrition and fitness industry.

After connecting with Chase through a mutual friend last fall, he gave me the structure and final push I needed to officially hit 'Record' and bring the FYX podcast concept to life through his podcast coaching biz, Operation Podcast. The power of having a team to both support your goals and grow your network developed as the main theme of this conversation--that comes as no surprise considering he's played that exact role in my life over the past year. 

Living a life of wellness has always been a part of Chase's story, beginning with eating fresh food from his grandparents' garden throughout childhood, playing baseball throughout school and enjoying time in the mountains surrounding his family's southwest VA home. After six years of active duty, Chase was medically discharged from the military due a string of injuries that ultimately required him to have bilateral reconstructive hip surgeries. After learning how to walk again, twice, exercise as medicine and healthy lifestyle modifications became his passion.
