InPresence 0255: Can Thoughts and Prayers Reduce Gun Violence?

In this monologue/dialogue, Jeffrey Mishlove reviews the project from the previous winter in which he ostensibly engaged with the deceased Ted Owens to affect the weather in Ukraine. He offers different possible interpretations of that project; and speculates about the possibility of a new project that would be both socially and scientifically meaningful. He then addresses the question of gun violence and how previous research on both the “Maharishi Effect” and on psychic healiung suggest that conscious intentionality can have an impact.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.
