In 2016, Derek began working for Lone Star Gun Rights advocating for the restoration of the right to bear arms in Texas. In 2017, he launched LSGR’s weekly podcast, Lone Star Gun Talk, which he hosted until his departure in 2020. In 2018, Mr. Wills was among 244 other individuals featured on the cover of Time Magazine in a major project they called “Guns in America.” You can find that project online at www.time.com/guns-in-america. A writer with several Op-Ed’s published, he has just completed his first book entitled “The Liberty Solution,” which is available on Amazon.
