The Debate: Moderator and Network Component

One of the main criticisms of the debate was aimed at the moderator and the network. The moderators, particularly the Univision lady, asked questions that were seen as statements and not legitimate inquiries. For example, blaming the United States for gun violence without considering other countries' problems or blaming US citizens for the fentanyl crisis. These questions were not received well by the candidates, who felt they were unfair and lacked evidence. The choice of moderators and the questions they posed did not contribute positively to the debate.
