Summary

In this episode I talk to Charli Collins, a passionate runner and someone who is making moves in this running community. Especially in Austin Texas. Charli shares how she started running about a year and a half ago after a trip to Nashville where she decided to sign up for a half marathon on a whim. She talks about her journey from half marathons to marathons and eventually to her first 50K race. Charli also reveals her plans to run a 50-mile race and a marathon in the near future. Charli Collins started a company called Rodeo Running Co. to share her running journey and provide helpful content for beginner runners. She created a PDF guide to answer common questions from friends and acquaintances about running. Charli and her boyfriend, Cole, started Rodeo Running Co. together, with Cole handling the technical and logistical aspects. They have also partnered with Secret Disco Sports to host events and create content. Charli has been attending and reviewing various run clubs in Austin and plans to travel to different cities and states to host pop-up run clubs. She recently started her own run club, which has been a success with a strong sense of community.
