Family Office Technology Hub Before You Sign the Contract: Family Office Tech Realities
(Full episode)
This Episode is also available as a video replay in our Conference Replays Library.
Part 4 of our podcast miniseries featuring stage discussions and interviews from our annual conference, held on 18–19 November 2025. Recorded live.
Most family office technology decisions don’t fail because of bad software — they fail because the risks weren’t thought through.
In this episode from the FOTechHub November annual conference, experienced family office operators get candid about how technology decisions really play out behind the scenes. From vendor vetting and change management to what happens when a platform doesn’t deliver — or disappears altogether.
The conversation dives into often-overlooked safeguards like source-code escrow, why glossy demos don’t tell the full story, and how peer how peer insight adds critical real-world context to technology decisions. You’ll also hear why systems only work when people actually use them, and how family offices can avoid expensive, hard-to-undo mistakes.
